Why use the template?
If you run a sales team at a B2B SaaS company, you know that you need a sales order form to be able to sign new customers. Download this sales order form template. It will work for 90% of SaaS companies.
It includes the basic information on your company, your customer, the services they are purchasing, total amount owed, reference to the terms of service and lastly the signature page.
You need a contractually binding agreement in place that says the customer is going to pay you a certain amount, and in exchange, you are going to deliver certain services. In most situations, both parties fulfill on their commitment, and there are no problems.
It's really only when one party doesn't fulfill their obligation or at least one party believes that to be the case. Then you may have a problem. Maybe the customer owes you money. Maybe, your product didn't work and you owe the customer a refund. Maybe something else. Either way, you'll want a contract in place to reference in the event there is a disagreement between you and the customer.

Once all the information is updated, send it to the customer for signature using an app like Docusign or Hellosign. Getting digital signatures is much faster that chasing people down for written signatures.
